Omnigender
An activist-coined identity for those who claim to identify with every gender simultaneously — an extension of pangender with unlimited categories.
What it is
Omnigender ("omni" = all, "gender") is used by people who claim not to identify with one gender, but with the sum of all known, coined and not-yet-coined gender identities — including xenogender-style non-human categories. The term overlaps with pangender but is presented by users as even broader.
Critical context
Omnigender exists only as self-report. There is no clinical, biological or psychological marker. The concept is a neologism from Tumblr- and TikTok-MOGAI subcultures and appears mainly in adolescent peer-clusters experimenting with identity labels. The Cass Review (2024) describes how such labels in clinical practice rarely indicate a stable identity and more often reflect a broader existential search.
